INFRASTRUCTURE & MONITORING ENGINEER

Our client is an international Bank in Zurich and currently executing several key projects.

We are looking for a Contractor/Consultant who is responsible for a high performing and collaborative set of customer groups. You will be a key contributor to the monitoring improvement project.

TASKS:

- Co-ordination for specific monitoring related topics
- Incident management and 3rd party application maintenance and support
- Support to business areas in their technical testing in test and integration Environments
- Preparation of training documentation and execution of user trainings

REQUIREMENTS:

- Demonstrated ability to configure and manage multi-OS environments (RedHat Solaris, MS Server 2008/2012 R2)
- Experience in Banking and/or Financial services
- Superior knowledge of monitoring tools (Nagios, Check_MK)
- Thorough understanding of conceptual implementation of monitoring solutions
- Competent in Oracle PL/SQL and Microsoft SQL
- Technical know-how in operating systems, databases and applications
- Good communication skills and experience in dynamic environments
- Fluent in spoken and written German and English

This is a fantastic contract opportunity to join a leading financial firm, working within an exciting and fast placed environment.

Start Date is 01.12.2015

Contract length is 1 year.
