Infrastructure (Linux / Vmware) Architect

A market leading Retail company based in West Yorkshire is looking for an Infrastructure Architect to lead a new project; architecting large scale systems with responsibility for storage, compute, network and security.

Salary - £45,000+

Package - Excellent

***Infrastructure Architect / Unix / Linux / HP-UX / Solaris / Ubuntu / RHEL / Senior Infrastructure***

The successful candidate will need experience of Infrastructure from the ground up, and have a range of skills from LAN, WAN, SAN through to Networks (Cisco / Citrix) and also Servers (Unix, HP-UX, Linux)

The key skills required are:

- Experience developing and implementing data centre management and automation systems.
- Proven expertise in required operating systems: VMware 4.x, 5.x, Windows, HP-UX and Linux
- Direct involvement developing and implementing solutions deployed in global

enterprise environments

The ideal candidate would also have a good understanding of database technologies, ideally having worked on or worked closely with DBAs working on Informix, Oracle, PostgreSQL or MySQL are highly desirable
