Introduction
The software engineering infrastructure group is responsible for the software development environment, which is being used by more than 1500 software developers. This environment consists of an integrated development, build, test and release environment and must be capable to support the life cycle and configuration management of the clients product software.
Key challenge is on one hand to have a state of the art environment to support the newest product development and on the other hand safeguard the stability and reliability and long term support for the growing installed product base at our customers.
This job will give you the opportunity to work in a fast pace environment in collaboration with a large team of Infrastructure specialists and various projects.

Job Mission
The software development infrastructure is responsible for the infrastructure and tooling for the clients development organization. As part of the Non-standard change team you will be in contact with various stakeholders and need to be able to balance a very diverse array of tasks. You will need to understand and be able to work within an environment consisting of Linux, Windows and Solaris managing aspects regarding the customer requirements, the architectural view and the technical implementation.

You will be implementing new Infrastructure services and Servers in the context of the Non-standard Change Team based on interaction with business customers and/or projects.

- Investigate and implement changes in the production environment with large impact;
- Define testing strategies;
- Take ownership of change implementation
- Define improvement proposals that focus on system performance and process efficiency for end-users.

THOROUGH UNDERSTANDING AND PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE WITH:

- Jenkins
- Software Configuration Management environments
- Linux CentOS, RHEL
- Windows XP (a prerequisite)
- Windows 2008 R2
- Virtualizations techniques
- Puppet
- Solaris
- Base knowledge of Storage Solutions
- Base knowledge of databases
