Infrastructure Engineer - Windows - VMware - Swansea - SC Cleared

We require highly motivated Infrastructure / Wintel Engineers to be responsible for building and configuring the Microsoft infrastructure and deployment on a number of high profile projects within a large secure Government network.

You will be working closely alongside the architects, the engineers and will assist in implementation, testing and establishing operation procedures. You will be able to provide authority on and ownership of technical issues, have experience of med-large scale infrastructure migrations.
You will also have understanding of project end to end delivery including ongoing service management and must be customer-focused and have the ability to communicate with the customer at various levels.

You will ideally have the following:

-SC Clearance
-General Microsoft infrastructure management skills - GPOs, desktop patching, security and maintenance.

Skills in implementing and operating the following Microsoft technologies:

-Active Directory
- SMS/SCCM
- Exchange
- Windows Server
- Server virtualisation

Basic Novell skills/awareness including eDirectory, Zen for Desktops & GroupWise would be highly beneficial.
