Infrastructure Engineer - Data Centre

Our client is seeking an experienced network engineer to work on a data centre fit out project.

YOU WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- You will be experienced in data centre technologies including the installation and configuration of varying hardware devices, cabling and power provisioning technologies
- You will have strong experience with systems support, installing infrastructure systems, Cisco Routers, Netgear Switches, VLAN and Trunking.
- Experience with hands on installation, configuration, testing and maintenance of data centre hardware and software.
- Experience with logical and physical network maintenance tasks including racking works.
- Develop and determine monitoring requirements
- Design and support of network solutions
- Ability to develop preventative measures to avoid unplanned downtime and improve availability of services
- Implementation support for both BAU activities and projects
- Write and maintain system documentation and reports
- Excellent communication skills with well developed stakeholder management skills
- Ability to travel
- Vendor management
- You will be tertiary qualified and have CCNA certification
- Valid Victorian dirvers licence.
