The Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for the support of the existing technologies across Unix, Linux and Vmware. In addition this the Infrastructure Engineer will take ownership of the following: Development and administration of the SAN storage technologies, Responsibility for the configuration and support of applications, provide planning and design support for new systems, ensure that systems and support process is documented, management of the data storage on server systems.
The Infrastructure Engineer will have the following background:
Microsoft Windows Server infrastructure Design, configuration and administration.
Solaris Red hat infrastructure Design, deployment and configuration.
San design, deployment and configuration
Netbackup
Active Directory Design configuration and Management/Administration.
The Infrastructure Engineer role will be for an initial period of 6 months at a rate of £28 per hour.
