The Infrastructure Engineer position will act as a System Administrator focused on supporting the client's Middleware platform (Tomcat, JBoss, and Apache), running on a Unix/Linux platform. An ideal candidate would have some (2-5 years) system administration experience, along with some Middleware and SQL knowledge. VMware and Perl experience would also be helpful.

SKILLS NEEDED

- Unix/Linux systems admin - Intermediate level required
- Middleware, Web Services - Intermediate preferred
- SQL skills - Intermediate preferred
- VMware - Intermediate preferred
- Perl - Intermediate preferred

The Operations team has front line 24/7 pager duty, currently one week on call about every 10-12 weeks. Required to be able to work weekend occasionally for maintenance, usually on Saturday mornings. Goal is to perform Tier 2 customer support, break-fix work.
