Infrastructure Designer - Data Centre Relocation Project (S26)

An experienced INFRASTRUCTURE DESIGNER is required for an INITIAL 6 MONTHS contract for a DATA CENTRE RELOCATION PROJECT with a LARGE GOVERNMENT DEPARTMENT BASED IN SYDNEY.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE WORKING WITH THE INFRASTRUCTURE ARCHITECTS AND TECHNICAL SPECIALISTS TO DESIGN INFRASTRUCTURE AND PLATFORM SERVICES AND MIGRATION PROCESSES THAT ASSIST IN THE RELOCATION OF THE DATA CENTRE FACILITIES.

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary DATA CENTRE INFRASTRUCTURE TECHNOLOGIES including VIRTUALISATION, NETWORKING, CLUSTERING, DATABASE, MIDDLEWARE AND STORAGE
- Demonstrated ability to INFLUENCE A DIVERSE TEAM of SMEs, architects and senior managers to deliver infrastructure solutions and designs that support business requirements
- Demonstrated ability to design END TO END INFRASTRUCTURE SOLUTIONS
- Demonstrated ability to REDESIGN AND RE-ARCHITECT EXISTING SOLUTIONS to fit into a new paradigm or to take advantage of new capabilities or technologies
- TEAM-ORIENTATED WITH FOCUS ON DELIVERING HIGH QUALITY WORK
- EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION AND STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT SKILLS
