Infrastructure Designer - Broad Technology, ITIL

These contract opportunities are few and far between!

This high-profile and prestigious organisation require an experienced Infrastructure Designer with a broad range of technology skills for a six month contract engagement based in the heart of the CBD.

Some of your primary duties and responsibilities will include:

- Design secure and resilient technology architectures that meet current and anticipated future IT requirements
- Produce and maintain all aspects of IT specification, including the overall designs, architecture, topologies and configurations of the infrastructure environment
- Provide design enhancements to IT infrastructure, capacity changes, business continuity, backup and disaster recovery arrangements
- Translate logical designs into physical designs, taking account of business requirements, target environments, process and performance requirements

In terms of technology, the broader the better but core skills and knowledge IN SOME of the following: Windows, Unix/Linux, VMWare, IBM Mainframe, DR, SAN, DB2, Oracle, Siebel, PeopleSoft, Oracle Identity Management (OIM)/Single Sign On domains, EMC, NetApp. Strong ITIL (preferably Certification in V3) is also required.
