Role: Infrastructure Delivery Manager - 12 Months - £450-£540 per day

Location: Newcastle

Infrastructure Delivery Manager required for a 12 month contract based in Newcastle for 12 months initially.

The successful Infrastructure Delivery Manager will have the experience and skills in order to manage the overall infrastructure design using virtualised servers, security infrastructure, networks, and the Infrastructure Delivery Manager will work with suppliers and the in-house team to deliver a baseline system definition to deliver the following:

Baseline operational / system requirements;
Sizing model for the whole system;
Infrastructure Roadmap for all services and components;
Infrastructure Delivery Plan which delivers any changes as required.

Infrastructure Delivery Manager Essential skills:

Demonstrable and proven track record of managing large scale technical IT infrastructure programmes, ideally in a Infrastructure Delivery Manager or Infrastructure Project Management role.
Excellent knowledge of Core Business Processes and experience of managing the delivery of large scale IT infrastructure programmes.
Experience of managing multi-supplier third party suppliers to deliver on time and within budget.
Knowledge of infrastructure with hands on delivery experience utilising similar technologies to those used on Universal Credit.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with senior staff and suppliers.
Knowledge of all or some of the following: VMware, Red Hat Linux Servers, Oracle Databases, Informatica ETL, IBM Websphere
