Infrastructure Coordinator DBA Server

Our client is a leader in the resources industry with a strong presence in WA. They are currently seeking an experienced Infrastructure Coordinator to join their team on a full time 6 month contract. The position will be located within their corporate offices in the Perth CBD.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide subject matter expertise in and coordination of the database services offered into the project in Singapore and Perth
- Infrastructure strategy, design and planning
- Provision of database services
- Coordinate support for the architecture model servicing geographically disperse MCP teams
- Coordinate with Telecom lead to include telecom infrastructure in strategy development and project deployments
- Project Management as required
- Coordination of projects related to MCP Infrastructure
- Handle ongoing maintenance eg. Service pack installations, hot fixes, software upgrades
- Develop and manage service level agreements related to MCP Database systems and support

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- Demonstrated ability to support VMware ESX environment including activities such as design, maintenance and troubleshooting
- General knowledge of server technologies and network and enterprise storage technologies
- Experience with Physical to Virtual (P2V) migration tools
- Experience with VMware and Lab Manager products
- Strong experience in Windows and/or UNIX/Linux operating systems
- An understanding of Active Directory
- Experience in Oracle and SQL Databases
- Strong understanding of security concepts
- Excellent communication skills
- Oil and gas experience highly advantageous
