Infrastructure Consultant, Disaster Recovery, Prague Contract

INFRASTRUCTURE CONSULTANT, DISASTER RECOVERY,PRAGUE, CONTRACT,

One of our prestigious clients is currently looking to add an experienced Infrastructure Consultant to their site based in Prague.

EXPERIENCE

At least 7 years of experience with Disaster Recovery processes

Experience in infrastructure architecture and design of complex distributed systems environments, including

Fail over techniques, recovery/rollback, and application partitioning

Experience as Disaster recovery coordinator with SRDF and SRM

Understanding of VMWare/VBlock infrastructure

ROLE:

Planning and organizing/coordination (schedule tasks/plan resources/work with Application owners for

downtime, testing, when a new application is required to setup on DR site - ie app on boarding for DR)

Good overall understanding of infrastructure setup, especially BCP/DR

Understanding of RPO and RTO concepts

Configuring DR using SRM (site recovery manager for automated failover management) utilizing EMC SRDF

Reporting - writing report on success/failure, RCA, etc

Implementing strategies to allow ongoing operational upgrades and ever-greening of technical solutions

Ensuring that the system remains qualified and that all new processes go through a proper vetting as determined by quality management.

Adherence to VCE (VMWare/Cisco/EMC) best practices whenever possible to ensure operational integrity.
