Qualifications

- Experience from Windows Server 2003 and 2008 and Unix
- Experience from LAN, WAN, Firewall, SAN etc
- Experience from Scripting and documenting
- Experience in migration from physical to virtual Servers
Mandatory Qualifications:
- VMware capacity planning
- Maintenance of VMware The successful applicant will have the following characteristics:
- Service-minded
- Good ability to cooperate
- Self-acting
- Willing to share skills within the team
- Good communication ability in Swedish as well as English
- Enjoy work in an international environment
About the position
My client an IT global VMware team is looking for a Senior virtualization technician who will work mostly with Vmware maintenance tasks, such as support, troubleshooting, performance and tuning.
Our customers are worldwide but with a concentration to Gothenburg.
We work the latest VMware technology. The global team will work with customers within the Group as well as with companies that outsource to the customer and will be consulted for expertise within the virtualization area.
This position is located in Goteborg.
Main tasks
Third level support and troubleshooting to techniques using the VMware infrastructure.
