Infrastructure Business Analyst

Next Ventures is executing a search for a business analyst for a Client doing a Global Parcel Project in Sweden.

The Global Parcel Project team will support and enable the strategy to increase sales of our customers range through the E-commerce channel.

GOALS, SCOPE AND MAJOR DELIVERABLES

The scope is to develop and implement a warehouse- and distribution infrastructure for the parcel segment for the European, Asia-Pacific, North-American and Russia market, supporting our client´s customer's needs both in the E-commerce business and for store customers wanting a home delivery.

The project will be run in a Global way where the first objective is to define the global frame range (could differ in different regions depending on limitations in weight and dimensions and local range that differ from the global), global service offer, global IT infrastructure and global goals. When the concept has been defined of a warehouse- and distribution service the project will continue by tendering and implementing service mentioned above for the nine regions mention below. There will be one global steering group for global parcel project.

By doing this, our client will meet its customers' demands when it comes to logistical cost, service and lead-time.

The warehouse and distribution of parcels includes:

- Secure that we have a set-up for replenish the parcel unit
- Receiving parcel range to the warehouse location
- Receive the order information
- Store the parcel range
- Range management including for example Q-stop or sales stop
- Pick, pack, re-pack and make final packaging of the parcel order
- Dispatch the order
- Manage the distribution to the customer (either by own distribution network or by a third party). It is not necessary that our client´s sub-contractor own the warehouse and distribution service within their company but they need to manage the complete operation.
- Return management
- IT integration of the external parcel units to our client´s relevant IT landscape.

BUSINESS ANALYST ASSIGNMENT SPECIFICATION

Business analyst resource(s) are needed for Business Requirement Specifications. The BA will be part of a small task force consisting of business analysts and business developers and will report to both the IT Project Manager and the Business Project Manager.

The BA needs to communicate with key stakeholders to collect business requirements and document them in the appropriate format for handover to IT.

Senior experience level in requirement analysis and specification needed.

Skills needed: Business analysis, Root cause analysis, visual modelling, defining use cases, writing user stories, documenting UAT criteria.

Assignment duration: Approximately 3 months.
