Background our Central Government Client has a 7 month requirement for a Infrastructure Business Analyst, based in London. An awareness of project management techniques, good stakeholder management skills and an awareness of procurement, contract management, clinical and information technology knowledge. This post plays a key role in the maintenance and assurance of the antiviral and consumable distribution infrastructure put in place by a complex Programme. It involves working with a range of stakeholders from technical, operational, financial and clinical backgrounds to ensure the strategy, processes, the clinical algorithm and guidance are maintained, assured and continue to meet the strategic aims they were developed for. The role requires strong project management, strategic and communication skills. An appreciation of clinical and technical issues is also helpful. A significant part of the role going forward will be to ensure there is policy control and input into the maintenance of the distribution infrastructure and that associated strategy, guidance, materials and IT systems are tested on an annual basis to maintain assurance of the response for a future UK pandemic. This will require ongoing liaison with key stakeholders This post is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to gain a broad knowledge of technical, operational, financial and clinical issues while working on a resilience programme that remains a priority on the National Risk Register Main Duties/ Responsibilities o Support the procurement / re-procurement of antiviral and consumable distribution capabilities o Contract manage key stakeholders - o Develop and maintain the distribution processes to allow antivirals to reach the public o Develop and maintain operational guidance and associated materials for the NHS o Develop and maintain the testing strategy for antiviral and consumable distribution and implement the strategy * Act a policy owner and commissioner for the IT systems that automate front and back office distribution including the Stock Management System and the Collection Point Administration System * Managing complex relationships * Line manage a team member Skills/ Experience Required * Programme and project management - 1) understand the risks and limitations of a piece of work, find workable solutions and delivery of high quality policy options to tight timetable, and 2) experience of, or interest, in working in a programme and the management disciplines that this entails including an apprecation of clinical and technical issues * Partnership working - ability to build constructive and influential working relationships with colleagues and senior figures internally and externally to align agendas and deliver objectives * Analysis and Use of Evidence - proven ability to deliver policy documents and complex submissions and engage with a wide range of stakeholders Capita Resourcing welcome applications from all suitably qualified people regardless of gender, race, disability, age or sexual orientation.
