Infrastructure Architect - Storage/Server/Network - LAN/WAN

Our top tier ICT Client is currently looking for an experienced Infrastructure Architect to join them on an initial 12 month contract.

You will be concentrating on the design of infrastructures including Servers, storage, workstations, Middleware, non-application software, networks, and the physical facilities that support the applications and business processes required by the client. Included in the focus areas is the critical evaluation and selection of the software and hardware components of the infrastructure

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE - - Knowledge of LAN, WAN, VLAN and networking technologies, components and protocols.
- Worked on large complex application migrations programs of work
- Developed migration plans for business critical applications
- Sound knowledge of IBM and other of Storage technologies including N-Series, SANs, EMC, DS Technologies.
- Knowledge of Server technologies
