Infrastructure Architect/Solutions Manager - Manchester

Exception are looking to engage with an experienced Infrastructure Architect/Solutions Manager, with experience within Banking or Financial Services, to provide Architectural consultancy and support across numerous IT projects. The role is a key position in co-ordinating and consulting projects across a major infrastructure change programme.

The successful candidate will have the following capabilities and knowledge:

A proven track record of delivering infrastructure designs on single platform and technologies

Experience of Solution Management within an Oracle/Unix environment

Track record of creating and leading virtual teams to support the study phases of major projects

Strong awareness of technology trends within the IT Industry

IT Infrastructure and Application Change in a large financial services organisation

IT Architectural processes, principles and governance

Strong technical knowledge of the infrastructure environment of a major financial institution

Strong Customer Service skills

Experience of operating in a service delivery environment with an excellent understanding of frameworks and processes

Third Party Management

Strong communication skills

Ability to establish a network of IT and business contacts
