Infrastructure Architect – London – Initial 4 Weeks Rolling Contract

My client, a leading IT Managed Services Company, require an infrastructure architect to join their team on-site with a global retailer. The successful candidate will have experience of data centre technology architecture, governance and hosting strategy (Compute, Storage, Network and Infrastructure Services). The candidate must understand the clients data centre strategy and infrastructure and cost up the implementation of transformation projects in accordance with the clients' implementation partners, software/hardware stack and best practices. The candidates' responsibilities would include:

Mentoring a team of infrastructure architects

Ensuring connected thinking and architectural governance for infrastructure and solution architecture

Virtualising data centre fabric wherever possible to deliver infrastructure abstraction and agility

Influence managed service provider architects (CTO's and CTA's) for the delivery of Data Centre infrastructure and services
