INFRASTRUCTURE ARCHITECT FOR DATACENTER MIGRATION.
For this specific job, the IT Architect will be assigned on projects that will define, build up and move datacenters.
Canididates should have the following skill-set:
- An experience of at least 8 years in complex infrastructure environments is required.
- The IT Architect needs to have advanced know-how and experience (at least 3 years) on how modern datacenters are constructed and exploited.
- He/She must have extended knowledge of the equipment used inside the data center (network, server, storage and backup hardware, in-bound and out-bound management tools, #) and the impact this equipment has on the conception and operations of the data center in terms of weight, power, cooling, cabling.
- Knowledge of cabling techniques is an asset.
- Knowledge of modern Data Center management tools is an asset.
- The IT architect must have a good knowledge of the different network layers and their impact with regards to interconnectivity of data centers.
- The IT architect must have experience in data center migration projects as one of his tasks will be the definition of migration strategies.
Language(s): English; French OR Dutch, with a preference for French
