A client of mine is looking to bring on a Infrastructure Architect into their company.

12-15 YEARS DATA CENTER MIGRATION EXPERIENCE IS A MUST.

Location: Switzerland, Zurich
Rate: 450 CHF per day
Duration: 3-4 months

Job Description:

Hands on experience in DC Migration projects migrating IT Assets (Servers, Storage, Network) from one datacenter to another.
Understanding of the Customer Strategy and Business Requirements
Experience translating Business Requirements into Technical Requirements
Experience developing High Level Design to meet Customer requirements
Ensured Traceability of requirements through design, implementation and testing phases of the project.
Hands on experience in delivering high value System Integration projects.
Deep understanding on various aspects of technology such as;
1. Datacenter migration.
2. Servers (UNIX and Wintel)
3. Consolidation and Virtualization
4. Storage and backup
5. Data centre build and implementation
6. Network (LAN and WAN)
7. Disaster Recovery/BCP
Strong technical background in one of the core IT Infrastructure areas like Platform/Network/Database (L3 or above)
Detail and high level designing experience across multiple technologies.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively present findings and reports at the local and senior business management level

The client needs infrastructure architects who are:
Experienced in DC Migration Projects
Able to understand application/infrastructure inter-dependencies based on data from tools and workshops with customer SMEs.
Able to understand customer big picture and put multiple pieces of the required solution together through interactions with various experts
Can meet and talk to senior management in customer and Wipro level and think on strategic levels
Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
Understand the business and financial concepts clearly and are able to relate technology to business
TOGAF/Zachman certification is an added advantage.
