Infrastructure Architect - Consulting

As an Infrastructure Architect, you are responsible for the design of infrastructures including Servers, storage, workstations, Middleware and the physical facilities that support the applications and business processes required by the client.

Focusing on the performance, availability and scalability of the infrastructure, the role will have a main emphasis on providing infrastructure consultation prior to any official engagement with the customer in order to scope out solutions. It is also your responsibility to provide input into customer solutions and be responsible for any brainstorming activities, talk to the customer around products and solutions.

You will apply knowledge of information technology and associated methods and tools and should have a keen interest in utilising technology to improve business operations and processes as well as have a desire to further develop their technical skills.

YOUR SUCCESS WILL BE BASED ON THE FOLLOWING:

- Experience and knowledge in providing "presales" consulting activities, such as scope solution, brainstorming and client understanding
- Infrastructure technology experience
- Improved business operations and negotiating effectively with team members(vendors, subcontractors, customers and internal teams)
- Experience in providing and applying knowledge of information and technology and associated methods and tools of the IT Architect profession to attain project/business unit objectives
- Experience in Architect design and assessment
