Infrastructure Architect (C5)

  Finite Canberra's client is seeking an INFRASTRUCTURE ARCHITECT beginning September 2013 for a 4 - 6 month period. (Likelihood of extension to 12 months)

For this Role you must be an AUSTRALIAN CITIZEN with a CURRENT SECURITY CLEARANCE.

ROLE:

Hosting infrastructure architects will be responsible for developing and maintaining technology Infrastructure standards, according to specific domains of expertise aligned with standard hosting services. Architects will also play a critical role in reviewing designs for new solutions which require client services, and consulting on required amendments to the design to meet standards.  

REQUIRED:

- Possesses expert technical knowledge of relevant hosting infrastructure.
- Has knowledge on current industry standards/protocols as well as emerging infrastructure trends, products and tools
- Has demonstrated experience in performing technology and vendor analysis including paper and lab evaluations for specific product selection and new technology solutions
- Possesses experience in performing reviews of current architecture and planning toward meeting future standards.
- Has experience in creating detailed solution design documents and diagrams.
- Has experience in managing deployments/upgrades of related hosting infrastructure technologies.
- Demonstrates an ability to work with customers to define requirements, develop solutions and implement those solutions in a timely and cost effective manner.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
- 6+ years of infrastructure management and architecture experience
