Infrastructure Architect - 6 months - Amsterdam Area

Amoria Bond is looking for a candidate with a minimum of 3 years experience as an Infrastructure Architect, to join a financial client. The contract is for a period of 6 months with a possibility to extend, and also to move into a permanent position (might the successful candidate be interested).

The successful candidate will be working in a large team and will take a senior position. He/She will need to have a helicopter view, since the successful candidate will be running several projects in maintenance and upgrading the existing infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for signalling and analysing the needs, and will advise management on the path of action to take. Leading a team of high level designers, the candidate has to have excellent technical skills too. The division between business as usual and project management will be 50/50

Key attributes:
-Application management with JBoss and Tomcat
-Network, Cisco, Nexus, Firewall
-Weblogic
-EMC, VMAX
-Private cloud architecture experience with VMWare knowledge
-Windows server 2000-2012
-Clustering
-Excellent communication skills
-English is a must, Dutch a pre
-Experience in designing and setting up datacentre is a big pre
