INFRASTRUCTURE ARCHITECT - WINDOWS 7/XP, DNS, ACTIVE DIRECTORY (AD), EXCHANGE, BLACKBERRY EXPRESS, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, WAN, MCSE/MCSA/MCITP, ITIL

INFRASTRUCTURE ARCHITECT - 3-6 MONTH CONTRACT - BRUSSELS - EXCELLENT PAY!

My client is seeking an Infrastructure Architect to join their office in Brussels.

The ideal applicant will need to demonstrate the following skills

- Ability to define and implement the infrastructure architecture and work with the business architect and technical architects to define the application architecture.
- You will be responsible for the preparation of technical projects within IT Operations.
- You will need to follow the technological developments, thus ensuring the necessary knowledge within IT operations for the management of the existing infrastructure and the development of projects.
- You will need to contribute to the daily optimal functioning of the IT infrastructure (compliance with the SLA ) and you support the IT management processes.
- A background in Civil Engineering or Industrial Engineering with specialization in Computer Science or you have a Master's degree in this direction;
- Must have experience working with UNIX and Windows at the server level, as well a exposure to networking technologies.
- Ability to speak Dutch language would be a big plus point (but not compulsory).

The Infrastructure Architect should have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate at all levels both verbal and written, and have the ability to show attention to detail. The ideal candidate must also demonstrate good team working skills.
