Infrastructure Architect

THE A TECHNOLOGY INFRASTRUCTURE SERVICES ARCHITECT responsibilities will be:

Willing to take on new challenges

Have a flair for customer interactions

Are ready to travel for multiple short 6-12 week assignments to global locations

Have the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Are able to visualise customer pain areas, and provide innovative solutions to address these areas

Are able to understand customer big picture and put multiple pieces of the required solution together through interactions with various experts

Take ownership of the assigned jobs and strive to meet them

Can meet and talk to senior management in customer and Wipro level and think on strategic levels

Possess excellent oral and written communication skills

Understand the business and financial concepts clearly and are able to relate technology to business

TOGAF/Zachman certification is an added advantage.

THE A TECHNOLOGY INFRASTRUCTURE SERVICES ARCHITECT we are looking for must have:

8+ years IT Architecture Experience

Experience developing High Level Design to meet Customer requirements

Servers (UNIX and Wintel)

Data centre migration.

Disaster Recovery/BCP

Detail and high level designing experience across multiple technologies.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively present findings and reports at the local and senior business management level

Strong technical background in one of the core IT Infrastructure areas like Platform/Network/Database (L3 or above)

Ability to understand and design the business resilience and data centre strategies for customers across technology.

Deep understanding about the build-up of a Data center. Should have been part of at least a couple of Data center builds.

Intimate knowledge and understanding of the methods used in performing risk analysis and business impact analyses
