Projektbeschreibung
The Network Infrastructure Architect will support the client in the planning, design and implementation of the technical and architectural design of all Network infrastructures.
The consultant will focus on refinement and implementation of the network infrastructure component of the recently approved ICT Infrastructure Upgrade Programme. The consultant will plan, design and oversee the integration of all parts of the network infrastructure to enable the effective and efficient provision of integrated data, voice and video communications across THE CLIENT.
The consultant will specifically ensure that the network infrastructure will:
1) Integrate all components of the CLIENT WAN and lay the foundation for a corporate IP telephony, video and data network
2) Support the use of various operating systems, client software and user devices
3) Standardize technology and products used on the network infrastructure including WAN,LANand data centers
4) Support staff mobility
5) Simplify network design, support, management and staff development
6) Ensure robust security
7) Facilitate remote support, service delivery and management
The Network Infrastructure Architect will coordinate internal staff as well as partners providing infrastructure technology and services.
