Infrastructure Analyst

Infrastructure Analyst - Networks/Servers - Southampton - 6 months

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Analyst with expertise on Networks and Servers. Our client are embarking on a major programme of work (infrastructure refresh) and need a reliable pair of hand s to pick up the BAU work and an any ad-hoc project work along the way.

This will include - Administration and configuration of VMware Virtualisation platform
Daily Network Diagnostics (one of the problems with the refresh is that hardware failures are occurring causing VMware issues)
Administration and configuration of Corporate Anti-Virus Solution
Patch, Security and Release Management
Server monitoring, alerting, and reporting (wintel environment)
Network and security diagnostics
Administration and configuration of DHCP and DNS.

Experience required - In depth knowledge of Network TCP/IP Protocol
In depth knowledge of VMware vSphere 5.0 and above
Knowledge of Backup and Recovery technologies and principals
