INFRASTRUCTURE ADMINISTRATOR - VMWARE - WINDOWS SERVER - LINUX -SOLARIS -SQL - STORAGE
Our Client in Zurich is seeking a Infrastructure Administrator with very good knowledge of VMware
- Administration and managing virtualization infrastructure (VMWARE)
- Support and carrying out maintenance activities like patching, systems upgrades, risk remediation work
- Assisting with Scripting (reporting and automation) of the virtualization environment
- Participation in 7x24x365 Virtual Infrastructure ON Call Service/Participation in shift work
- Documentation of operational documentation and technical procedures
Skills Requirement:
- Extensive experience (3 years +) in VMWARE ESXI 4.* AND ESXI 5.*
- Know-how on WINDOWS SERVER, LINUX, SOLARIS, SQL AND STORAGE (SAN/NAS)
- Experience building Servers on ESX platform
- Good (excellent) Scripting skills
- Architecture knowledge of virtual infrastructure
- Understanding of HP & DELL blades and chassis hardware, networking concept, backup and recovery of VMs, IT Security
- English is a must, German a big plus
