INTRODUCTION:
We are looking for a IT Infra Architect for the design and implementation of new client compute based services and solutions. A challenging IT position in one of the most technical developed companies in the world. IT operates in a high demanding, fast moving, dynamic and professional environment.

JOB MISSION:
Lead the development of mid-term goals for all of the IT data centers worldwide.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The role will be based on defining High level designs, road maps and the implementation of new infrastructure:

- Participate in projects, being responsible for High and Low Level Designs.
- Ensuring compliance of architecture principles, policies and standards.
- Bringing up any exceptions during project (realization) and advice on how to handle best
- Evaluating future technologies against business requirements, strategies and map them to IT capabilities

In this role the IT infra architect is closely working together with both IT and business stakeholders so stakeholder management is key in regards to:

- Timely and clear communication, share information and knowledge
- Share responsibility and make use of expertise of others
- Focus on targets and evaluate
- Clear role and responsibility

You will join a team of other Infra architects and will have to align cross domain architecture.

EXPERIENCE:

- At least 7 years of experience as an architect on senior level and 10+ years of experience in other business and IT roles;
- Very experienced in delivering architectural principles, processes, infrastructure and solutions like eg Togaf, Archimate;
- A strong industry experience in several of the following at an architectural level:
- Network
- Data center
- Server
- Storage

PERSONAL SKILLS:

- Academic level or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Team player with strong leadership skills.
- Passionate about driving new technology solutions.
- Strong documentation skills with the ability to write positional papers, white papers, policies, best practices and strategy documents.
- Good customer focus and customer facing skills.
- Certification in one of the architectural frameworks is a pre.

CONTEXT OF THE POSITION:
The IT infrastructure architect is working within the IT Operations & Infrastructure department reporting to the Director Data center & Network. The IT infrastructure architect is closely working together with both IT and business stakeholders driving towards an IT infrastructure meeting business demands.
