Information Technology (IT) Infrastructure Technician

Yoh has a contract opportunity for an IT INFRASTRUCTURE TECHNICIAN to join our client in Circleville, OH.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Gathering, compiling and synthesizing information with regard to infrastructure processes or systems.
- Provide support for assigned site(s) desktops, printers, telecom equipment, and PDA's by completing installations, performing maintenance and/or upgrades and scheduled back-ups.
- Understand the interaction between the Operating System (OS) and applications.
- Anticipate the impact of changes and resolve problems as new Operating System's hardware or software versions are deployed.
- Manage all IT assets at site, including out of scope PCs, printers, network equipment, and software licenses.
- Will be the contact for server support group in the event they need someone to physically work on the Servers.
- Maintain current inventory of assets and IT supplies.
- Identify opportunities to redeploy assets and initiate orders for supplies as needed.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Associate's degree preferred.
- Experience with desktop and telecom support preferred.
- Experience in any of following domains is recommended:
- eServices, Midrange, Personal Computing, and Telecommunications and Mobility.
