Information Security Specialist - Brussels (12-month Contract)
Our client is a multinational insurance group, looking for an Information Security Specialist to join their team in the heart of Brussels.
The mission consists in supporting the IT projects in the domain of Information Security. We advise them on security issues and help them (in collaboration with IT architects) to define the appropriate architecture for their applications/projects. These tasks are performed using a Risk Assessment Process. We contribute (as stakeholder for the security part) to other projects/initiatives initiated by transversal functions.
We also define standards and best practices concerning information security.
This is a 12-month contract (Depending on project evolution, extension is possible)
Profile:
Mandatory
Professional experience in Financial services Industry in IST or equivalent
Information security in general (awareness of the best/common security practices in the field of application development/IT projects)
Good understanding of IT security technology and processes (PKI, Secure datacentre, Network Security, Windows Security, etc.)
Good conceptual knowledge of the Information Security Standards & Frameworks (ISO17799, ISO 2700)
Past experience in the field of Technical Risk Assessments or Audits (assessment, mitigation plan development ), DRP or equivalent
Preferable
IT Architecture
Infrastructure knowledge (Windows, Mainframe or/and cross platforms communication)
Knowledge of Sailpoint Identity IQ and IAM concepts (RBAC, etc)
Job/Project Objectives
Help us improving the information security. The domains covered are vulnerability management, security architecture and IAM.
You will help the infrastructure team with designing a secure infrastructure. There are some important network security projects ongoing.
You will also help with the further implementation of Sailpoint Identity IQ, help with troubleshooting issues with the tool and propose improvements to the processes and procedures.
