Information Security Role

A financial services organisation inWest Yorkshireis looking for a Lead Information Security Consultant to develop and maintain Information Security policies and procedures, monitor and assist with their implementation and provide technical assistance and advice to the business to effectively manage Information Security risk within the organisation.

The role is a Senior specialist technical role within the Information Security team with responsibility for directing and advising the business on Information Security risk and guiding the work of other Information Security team members to meet reporting and monitoring objectives.

Creating information security control frameworks (policies, standards, and procedures) to support business governance objectives.

Managing Information Security risk management processes that align with organisational assurance requirements and recognised good practice.Identification, assessment and escalation of relevant Information Security risks to management. And defining metrics to enable the ongoing measurement and reporting of relevant Information Security risk to senior management.

Embedding IT security controls and performance measures into third party contracts to ensure the ongoing protection of information assets.
