I am currently working with an established consultancy in Belgium who are seeking an experienced Information Security & Risk Officer for a contract assignment in Belgium.

This contract position requires the successful candidate to be able to communicate fluently in either French or Dutch and be able to locate themselves in Belgium for the duration of the contract. My client is open on experience level so please apply if you have anything from 3 to 20 years relevant experience.

Working closely with an external client this varied role will encompass Information Security, Information Security Risks and IT Risk Management.

The role:

- Identify, analyse and report information security risks
- Involved in the implementation of an Information Security Management System
- Define policies, standards, procedures and guidelines
- Setting up and maintaining and Information Risk registry
- Full communication of the risk awareness and implementation
- Heavily involved with ISO27001, ISO31000 and COBIT5

The successful Information Security & Risk Officer will demonstrate:

- Relevant experience in Information Security and Risk Management
- Full understanding of ISO27001, ISO31000 and COBIT5
- Broad understanding of IT environments, processes and technology
- Certifications in CISSP, CISM, CISA or CRISC
- Fluent both written and spoken in either French or Dutch

This is an initial 4 month contract with probable extensions.
