Information Security Manager - SC Cleared - 400/day - Exeter

INFORMATION SECURITY MANAGER, INFORMATION SYSTEM SECURITY OFFICER SC CLEARED 400/DAY - EXETER 6 MONTHS

Our government client are looking for an SC Cleared Information Security Manager/Information System Security Officer to develop solutions to address evolving business risks and information control. Working in a small team, sometimes independently; you will be responsible for implementing security, controlling breaches of security policy, preventing security breaches etc.

To be considered you will need to have:

- prior experience of INFORMATION SECURITY, ideally within a public sector environment subject to HMG SECURITY POLICY FRAMEWORK COMPLIANCE
- knowledge of the mandatory controls within the HMG policy frameworks and or the application of ISO 27001 Information Security Techniques and Information Security Management Systems.
- an IT background and the ability to demonstrate the implementation of IT Security principles within a diverse business environment.
- excellent communication skills and the ability to engage both technical and business colleagues
- CURRENT SC CLEARANCE. Please ensure this is clearly stated on your CV at application stage
