Information Security Manager (SC) - Contract - Hampshire - £competitive

Synergize Consulting are now hiring for an Information Security Manager to work at a leading defence/government client based in Hampshire on a contract basis.

The purpose of this position is to perform leadership and oversight of the Information Security Management (ISM) division, setting high level security strategy, policy and standard operating procedures to ensure stakeholder confidence that risk to the confidentiality, integrity and availability of "restricted" data in storage and in transit is managed pragmatically, appropriately and in a cost effective manner.

Responsibilities include:

- Maintain the Information Security Policy, Standards and ISMS documentation in line with legislative compliance requirements and advice from Accreditors.
- Own and maintain Risk Management Accreditation Document Sets (RMADS) for the infrastructure, by joint working with CLAS consultants.
- Manages the development of security engineering designs and implementation in all aspects of Information
- Assurance and Information Security (InfoSec) Engineering service only when operationally ready.
- Oversee the build and maintenance of technical security controls, accepting all information security controls into service only when operationally ready

Experience required:

- Demonstrated experience providing ISM to large scale IT Service delivery programs and projects
- Recognised expert in governmental Security Policy Framework, policies, procedures and in a delivery context
- Holds two or more of the following certifications: CLAS, CGEIT, CISSP, ITIL, or ISSEP
- Due to the nature of the client it would be an advantage for candidates to hold or be eligible to undergo SC Clearance
