Information Security Manager

My client is seeking an Information Security Manager to govern and improve enterprise-wide Information Security. You will be responsible for managing the Information Security Management System including the development and governance of Information Security strategy, architecture and capability across the enterprise in line with industry standards. You will also be responsible for identifying and evaluating new and emerging information security trends, innovations and threats, providing appropriate strategic advice to key business and ICT stakeholders.

Essential skills:

- Extensive knowledge of security concepts, principles, technologies, frameworks and demonstration of their application.
- Extensive knowledge of information security management, IT risk management and standards including ISO27001 and 27002.
- Extensive experience with security related role in an advisory and governance capacity.
- Ability to consult and engage with teams and varying levels of staff.
- Demonstrated experience in working with Accredited Certification bodies in Australia
- Demonstrated experience in managing and improving policies, processes and procedures in a large complex organisation
- Demonstrated experience with enterprise architecture models, and introducing security concepts within these models
- Demonstrated experience in improving Information Security awareness within an organisation;
- Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
