Information Security Document Control Specialist Job

INFORMATION SECURITY DOCUMENT CONTROL SPECIALIST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Overland Park, KS.

MUST BE CURRENTLY ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN THE US FOR ANY EMPLOYER

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Technical writing skills
- Information Security Standards
- High proficiency in Excel, Word, and Visio

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- The primary purpose of this position is to collect and consolidate the physical and information security process documentation.
- Responsible for the documentation of security processes, workflows and training material.
- Develop materials to document end-to-end process flows.
- Writes detailed procedure documents based on discussions with process owners and identification/creation of process flows with an emphasis on accuracy and reference to requirements.
- Develop and organize training materials, visual aids, and other education materials.
- Maintain Master Document Control Listing and ensure compliance with documentation procedures.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Strong background with Information Security Standards, including ISO27001, NIST, COBIT, etc.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Technical writing skills.
- High level of proficiency in Excel, Word, and Visio.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Industry certifications preferred (CISSP, CISA, CISM).
- Previous Information security audit experience preferred.
