Information Security Consultant - Liverpool/Milton Keynes - £450 - £50

JOB TITLE: Security Consultant

LOCATION: Liverpool

RATE:£450 - £500 Per Day

DURATION: 3 Month Rolling Contract

RESPONSIBILITIES

- You will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team responsible for the delivery and assurance of Security Operations services
- Key contribution to various facets of Security incident response including notification, escalation response and post incident review.
- Supporting delivery of triage services to mitigate the threat from attackers infiltrating company information, jeopardising E-commerce presences.
- Contributing to management communications outlining the negative impact on the business caused by theft, destruction, alteration or denial of access to information.
- Delivering recommendation and actions to improve the detection, escalation, containment and resolution of data security incidents.
- Identifying, classifying and managing the escalation of IT Security risks.
- Enhance existing incident response methods, tools and processes which provide the organisation value by reducing risk.
- Contributing towards improving incident response delivery by leveraging lessons learnt.

Providing general advice and guidance on IT Security related matters as and when required.

- Managing 3rd party suppliers, to deliver robust and efficient Security Services that are fit for purpose.
- Maintaining Risk, Issue and Change registers for information security, with focus on strong Risk management skills and discipline.
- Generating MI regarding compliance to IT Security Policies and in relation to Security Incidents in appropriate management dashboards
- Supporting control events, such as Audits reviews and maintain a constant state of Audit readiness and regulatory compliance
