INFORMATION SECURITY CONSULTANT - DATA CENTRE MIGRATION
For a client of ours, a major corporate with global headquarters based in Zurich, Swisslinx is searching for two Information Security Specialists.
THE ROLE WILL ENTAIL THE FOLLOWING RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participate and represent IT Security in the board activities that determine/validate the destination of the applications to be migrated (ie either cloud or internal datacenter).
Communicate the migration plan to affected Security functions in order to avoid interferences between projects.
Ensure systems and application owners enrol the Servers and applications in the various security services: Asset Management, Anti-Virus, Patching, Hardening, Vulnerability Management, and Web-Application scanning where necessary.
Ensure that Health Checks are performed and passed before production cutover takes place.
Conduct Risk Assessments and work with the Business Risk Management Unit, to ensure that necessary Risk Exemptions are obtained by the systems and applications owners when risk mitigation is not possible.
Share with the security functions the information required by the service (Account information, IP addresses, URLs )
WE ARE LOOKING FOR PEOPLE WITH THE FOLLOWING KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
Broad Information Security technology knowledge, including cloud services, application security, Disaster Recovery and configuration management.
Excellent English communication skills to interact with application owners and service managers.
Understanding of risk management.
Excellent project management skills to coordinate multiple parties.
Experience in working in mixed environments (partly insourced, partly outsourced).
Able to deal with complex priorities where he/she needs to affirm IT Security's position.
3+ years of Information Technology Security Experience.
CISSP certification is a plus.
THIS IS A 6 MONTHS CONTRACT INITIALLY, WITH A POSSIBILITY OF EXTENSION. START DATE: IDEALLY ASAP.
