Information Security Architect

Title: Information Security Architect

Location: Charlotte NC or St Petersburg FL

Rate: 100.00 per hour W2 only

Duration 1+ year

Currently we are seeking Security Analyst to join our team of professionals!

This position is responsible for information security solution architecture, the mentoring and supporting of security analysts and the development and enforcement of security standards and guidelines. This position may consult with customers, IT leadership, security analysts, and architects in other organizations on emerging technologies and vendor architectural directions related to information security. This position will be responsible for understanding cross-company business needs and designing solutions that meet business requirements while maintaining confidentiality, integrity and availability of information and systems. This position would be engaged in problem solving on complex systems and project issues. This position would also be a champion for standard development methodologies and SDLC process.

NOTE: Candidate must reside in either Charlotte NC or St Petersburg FL area

Travel Requirements: 25-50% travel

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

7+ years experience in information systems. Experience in designing, development and support of complex systems and solutions. Experience in performing detailed analysis on complex systems. Strong understanding of risk and information security concepts. Practical experience implementing NIST or other industry standard. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Desired Qualifications:

Current holder of CISSP, CEH or other industry certifications. Strong understanding of security solutions that support confidentiality, integrity, and availability such as Active Directory, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, PKI, SIEM, and VLANs. Experience with developing designs and architecture for emerging technology leveraging industry standards. Should be able to convert documented business requirements into conceptual, logical and physical design documents. Experience working with Smart Grid or industrial control systems. Project management skills. BA/BS + minimum of 8 years of experience or 10+ years of experience (experience is more important then degree).
