INFORMATION SECURITY ARCHITECT

OVERVIEW:

A leading Consultancy require and experience Information Security Architect that has a proven track record in developing enterprise security architecture solutions for large organisations. Someone who can create a blueprint for understanding disparate designs and processes and organise architecture and actions toward improving enterprise security.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate the application of a rigorous methodology for describing a current and future structure for enterprise security processes, information security systems and organizational units, so that they align with an organization's strategic direction.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

- A minimum of fifteen years' experience in IT and information security.
- Experience in developing information security architecture for large government organisations.
- Must have completed at least one ISO 27100 gap analysis
- Thorough understanding of information security risk management
- database security experience
- network and communication security experience
- application and database experience
- operating system (OS) experience
- security operations, including monitoring, incident response and pen testing
- Understanding of IT processes/operations with hands-on practical experience.
- Ability to establish priorities and optimise the delivery of tasks.
- Ability to articulate and communicate Information Technology concepts in a business language and vice versa.
- Ability to demonstrate effective communication skills with sound discussion and rationalisation capabilities.
- Capable of effectively identifying and managing issues.
- Excellent presentation, writing and oral communications skills.
