Information Security Analyst - Secret Clearance Job

INFORMATION SECURITY ANALYST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located near Montgomery, AL.

POSSESSION OF AN ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED AS A CONDITION FOR EMPLOYMENT.

TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- Experience with Network Security
- Experience with Information Assurance pertaining to Network Security
- Active Secret clearance
- Certified Security+ CE Certification

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Monitor and track vulnerabilities in Vulnerability Management System (VMS).
- Performs vulnerability scanning with eEye Digital Security's Retina scanning toolset and Tenable's Nessus scanning toolset.
- Monitors system development and provides guidance on IA requirements.
- Provides enterprise and system architecture analysis, acquisition, operations, and sustainment support for existing and new capabilities.
- Works closely with government liaisons and other contractors to integrate and verify IA objectives and functions, as specified by DoD IA related policies and directives, for successful system certification and accreditation (C performs system certification and accreditation planning and testing and liaison activities.
- Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced technical staff members.
- Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
- Participates in special projects as required.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience.
- Five to eight (5-8) years of related experience in data security and Information Assurance administration.
- CompTIA Security+
- Active Secret or higher clearance
