Information Security Analyst - Finance - Zurich

Our client in the finance industry seeks a Information Security Analyst, to join the Group Information Security team. Touching all aspects of the firm's operations and infrastructure, you will be focusing on coordinating the firm's on-going efforts regarding information and data protection ensuring that any gaps are systematically addressed.

ROLE:

- You will have direct responsibility for the management of key security administration processes including associated management reporting.
- This role initially focuses on data leakage administration but once developed you would be in a position to engage and support strategic development across the function.
- Monitor, analyse and escalate the security alerts in IB globally.
- Analyse and approve requests raised by IB staff.
- Follow up the alerts and incidents with the business representatives until resoled in timely manner.
- Produce the professionally presented management reports on regular basis.
- Provide input and feedback to allow the further improvement of information security tools and processes.

REQUIRED SKILLS

- Strong verbal and written communication & interpersonal skills in order to act as a contact and explain the solutions to users with different levels of knowledge.
- Strong analysis skills to enable analysis of alert and requests from business point of view.
- Analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail.
- Understanding of access control, data protection leakage and approvals workflow.
- Understanding of information security principles and how these should be applied.
- Understanding of IT activities such as software development, production support, deployment and release processes, testing, and how they are managed in a large organisation.
- Advanced Excel, PowerPoint & Access skills.
- Familiar with financial industry or large corporate organisations.
- Able demonstrate IT securityand risk management and IT knowledge.
- German and English a must
