Information Security Analyst is urgently required.
Description
The company's Information Security function coordinates the firm's ongoing efforts regarding information and data protection, and ensures that any gaps are systematically addressed. This touches all of the firm's operations and infrastructure, as well as practices and policies, and requires close work with business management, operations and functional specialists across the firm. The Security Analyst will report to and support the initiatives of the division. The individual will have direct responsibility for the management of key security administration processes including associated management reporting. This role initially focuses on data leakage administration but once developed the right candidate would be in a position to engage and support strategic development across the function.
Activities in this role include the following:
Monitor, analyse and escalate the security alerts in IB globally.
Analyse and approve requests raised by IB staff.
Follow up the alerts and incidents with the business representatives until resoled in timely manner.
Produce the professionally presented management reports on regular basis. Provide input and feedback to allow the further improvement of information security tools and processes.
Required skills include the following:
Strong verbal and written communication & interpersonal skills in order to act as a contact and explain the solutions to users with different levels of knowledge.
Strong analysis skills to enable analysis of alert and requests from business point of view.
Analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail.
Understanding of access control, data protection leakage and approvals workflow.
Understanding of information security principles and how these should be applied.
Understanding of IT activities such as software development, production support, deployment and release processes, testing, and how they are managed in a large organisation.
Advanced Excel, PowerPoint & Access skills.
Desired skills include the following:
Familiar with financial industry or large corporate organisations. Must have good interpersonal, organisational and communication skills and also demonstrate IT security and risk management and IT knowledge. Must have both written and oral English and German.
