Information Security Advisor (m/f)

MY DUTIES:

-In this role, you will apply your expertise in information security to a number of major business and technology change programmes in order to develop and implement fit-for-purpose solutions
-This will involve determining security/regulatory aspects of the respective programmes and identifying essential security activities, roles and responsibilities in order to achieve defined business objectives
-Working with stakeholders, you will contribute to budget forecasting for the delivery of security advisory services, in addition to coordinating the provision of services and performing assurance checks
-You will also be expected to team up with other information security specialists in order to provide guidance on technical, policy and risk management topics where needed
-In addition, your responsibilities will include preparing intelligible status reports and briefings as well as contributing to the continuous improvement of internal processes and procedures

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

-You hold a Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or similar and have a good understanding of information security
-This will be complemented by expertise relating to current technology practices and trends, together with their implications with regard to security (e.g. public/private cloud technologies, big data, etc.)
-You have a proven track record of introducing information security controls in cross-functional environments - gained from corporate, service provider or consultancy roles
-Hands-on experience in technology/operational risk management is essential, as is the ability to assess and articulate security risks in an intelligible manner
-As you grow in this role, you will also be given the chance to lead and coach other information security professionals, which will require excellent managerial and interpersonal skills
-Alongside a highly structured approach and finely honed communication skills, you will need a fluent command of English, both written and spoken
