Information Data Architect - SC Cleared - 6 Months

Large and prestigeous Government organisation is looking to secure the services of an Information Data Architect on a 6 months contract to start ASAP who can work at a high level across many systems with the capability of diving into each system.

As the Architect, you will help build a Data and Information capability for the entire programme linking into other areas of the business where data architecture is already established. Your will then communicate your Data/Information architecture from business terms to communicate to Stakeholders and also through in-depth models that can be communicated to other architect, engineers and development teams.

Your responsibly will range from liaising with areas within the business, project staff and suppliers both COTS products and suppliers providing turnkey systems.

Travel around the UK will be required and may include occasional overnight stays.

Required Person Specification

* Educated to degree level and significant level of experience of working in a senior data architecture role.
* Thought leader in respect to Information and how it can improve business operations.
* Experience on Data Analytics and Big Data process.
* Experience of using architecture frameworks and processes (eg. TOGAF).
* Data modelling experience and understanding across a broad range of DBMS (Oracle and MSSQL).
* Strong demonstrated analytical problem solving skills.
* Experience of migrating and consolidating data from multiple sources.
* Good understanding of Open Source Software products.
* Experience with Software Engineering Skills (such as Java or C or other).
* Knowledge and understanding of AGILE.
* Good Communication skills.
