INFORMATION/DATA ARCHITECT - €550 PER DAY/UTRECHT, NETHERLANDS

My client, a Media company based in Utrecht (Netherlands) are recruiting for a contract Data Architect. You will be responsible for evaluating and designing IT architecture solutions and will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the data architecture. You will ensure the Data Architecture is consistent in order that IT solutions and systems support processes and strategy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ARE

- Provides clear explanations of data design issues within ITS and offer solutions to arising problems.
- Develops and maintains different levels of the Enterprise Data Model suitable for the different audiences within the business
- Specialist and up to date knowledge of Data Analysis and modelling techniques and tools and industry best practices in the field.
- Responsible for monitoring compliance with the architecture
- Clearly understands Business Strategy, Business processes and the role of Information Technology.
- An understanding of the costs to the business when making Architecture decisions
- Has good understanding of the project life cycle (phases, activities, and deliverables) and of how to plan, structure and lead projects.
- Participates in Governance process and review all new initiatives and significant changes for security implications
- Responsible for defining and maintaining the Enterprise Data Model
- Performs data modelling studies and develops detailed data models.
- Advises managers and project teams on all data analysis and modelling requirements.
- Monitors and evaluates the Data Architecture and manages changes in order to ensure that the Architecture complies with business processes
- Ability to explain complex issues to a non-technical audience
- Ensures that the wider Architect group understands the reasoning behind strategy and designs

This is an immediately recruiting role with interview prior to Christmas and a January start date. Dutch language skills are not required, but English is essential. Candidates must have a valid Dutch work permit or be EU residents. For more info please send your CV.
