Information Assurance Technical Specialist

Background
Our Central Government client is currently recruiting for an Information Assurance Technical Specialist to join them on a contract basis to start ASAP until the end of September based in London. Due to the urgent nature of this role a preference is being given to candidates that hold valid CTC clearance or higher.

Main Duties/Responsibilities
Strategy and implementation for inclusion of a new protective marking scheme. Update and formal issue of all documents in scope for the programme. Strategy, negotiation and documentation of IA controls for the programme. Stakeholder support on IA enquiries from Central Government transition customers Maintenance and update of existing IA documentation

Implementation plan Approved updated IA document suite Agreed documented enhanced controls

Skills/Experience Required
CLAS IA consultant either Lead Auditor or Lead Architect Implementation security systems in a modern network technology environment
Preferably familiar with Health IA controls
Experience of IA architectures and controls in central government
Experience of HMG IS1/2, SPF.
Experience of IGSoC/IGToolkit
Experience of the N3 network structure and organisation (Connectivity, Aggregation, Management, Access Control).

Formal Qualifications Required
Essential/Desirable ISO27001 Lead Auditor CLAS/CCP or equivalent
