Information Assurance Engineer

Advantage Resourcing are currently actively seeking Information Assurance Engineers for a well established defence organisation.
This is a 6 month contract role initially based in Samlesbury. The pay rate for this role is £42ph ltd
Candidates will need to undergo full security checks for the role so pleas bear this is mind when applying.

Objective
The company are looking for information Assurance Engineers to work within their Aerospace function.

Key Responsibilities:-
*Working closely with managers, solution architects and systems engineers to identify, design and implement security controls
*Develop understanding of product information risk context and suggest architectures and countermeasures to mitigate risks from solutions
*Provide strategic direction to investment in new management approaches and technologies

Skills Required:-

*Good understanding of current trends and developments in information assurance
*Ability to identify risks and act efficiently
*SME in one or many security technologies such as network security
*Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
*Good communication skills
*Ideally CESG or IA Architecture at practitioner level
*Ability to prioritise workload and work well under pressure to meet deadlines
