MY DUTIES:

- Identify, communicate and influence the decision towards Information value opportunities in specific projects
- Act as expert and advisor in projects that deal with multiple data sources and Insights generation needs
- Initially dedicated to the IMC / IRIS (Information Management Center / Information and Retrieval Insight System) Initiative as their Squad Information Architect
- Design and actively co-create Data Models, Information Models and automatic insights generation solutions (partnering with Solution and Application Architects)
- Actively discuss and co-create overall solution design (together with Business users, Business Analysts, Solution, Application and Data Architects)
- Push at the limit for all opportunities on data automation and automatic insights generation in projects with multiple data sources
- Act as advisor and consultant in Information domain inside your projects
- Actively leverage all Data/Information technologies available and Market technologies (when internal technologies and solutions don’t meet customer’s expectations and needs)
- Be the link from your projects to other IT Information Architecture Organizations
- Partner with business and through the rationalization of the information value chain, provide strategic recommendations to maximize the value of information assets via their creation, access, and use
- Review and approve information and data model designs with a focus on those areas influencing interoperability, analytics including compliance with the enterprise information model
- Ensure integration of project logical data models into the enterprise information model and vice versa
- Maintain repositories for representing the data elements including the entities, relationships and attributes, the information flows, business glossary

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience in working with Business Architecture, Information Architecture, Application and Infrastructure architecture
- Proven experience in: Data Modelling, Data glossary & standards, Data Catalogue, Information Modelling, Information Flow Management and data governance
- Experience in conceptual data models / information data catalogue tools (e.g. but not limited to Collibra, Hadoop, Cloudera, Alteryx, Tableau)
- Expertise in data relevant technology domains: Data Integration (APIsData Lakes (AWS) and Artificial Intelligence 
- Agile mindset, i.e. Good enough instead of perfection and Focus on “Reuse before Buy before Make” when providing direction on future solutions
- Open mindedoptimistic and enthusiastic
- Challenging and customer oriented
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- IT Solutions design experience and a TOGAF certification is beneficial
- Hands-on experience in the following areas is a plus: web server, application server, database, cloud hosting, API integration
- German language skills are a plus
